Hollie & Ross’ Mythe Barn Wedding was a beautiful sunny summers day, the perfect day for an outdoor wedding ceremony – and the gazebo made the most incredible backdrop. Hollie & Ross opted to decorate the ceremony space with delicate pew ends, high riser stands and a focal piece on the register table.
Hollie & Ross’ colour palette was an eclectic mix of summery tones – soft pinks, peaches and lilacs with poppier oranges and deeper pinks. We used classic romantic blooms such as Roses & Lisianthus, alongside summer favourites like Dahlias & Cosmos. The style of the day was informal, relaxed and this was reflected in their flowers, with a loose natural feel in the bouquets and arrangements.
The reception room at Mythe Barn is a stunning light filled room, tastefully decorated to complement any scheme. For their table centrepieces, Hollie & Ross collected an assortment of vintage teacups, stacked on copies of their favourite books, filled with flowers. We moved flowers from the ceremony onto the top table to maximise use – something I always recommend where possible!
Hollie & Ross requested one of the most unusual flower arrangements I’ve made when they requested for flowers to be placed in the horn of a gramophone! Hollie’s dad is a collector and this was a fabulous way to add to the décor at Mythe Barn! What a great example of how you can use all sorts of items that have meaning to you to make your wedding extra special and unique to you.
I hope Hollie & Ross had the most magical day and I’m looking forward to being back at Mythe Barn very soon!
